I definitely had some nice moments in Wildstar though, and PvE content looks very compelling.Īdventures are group content but they're very different to the dungeons. I still like playing WoW, and I do not want to pay for two subscription based games at once. Often you can do a challenge just fine while doing a quest, perhaps having to kill a few mobs extra if you want the silver/gold rewards (and man, sometimes, they are REALLY worth it).Įither way, I don't think I will be purchasing this one. You get the challenge the moment you kill the first mob that counts into the challenge. When I enter a new quest hub and gather all the quests, and check my map on the quest locations, I have to constantly peddle back and forth (from the map to the quest log/tracker) to find out where I have to go and what I have to do there.īuut I also disagree with how you say you get a challenge towards the end of your "kills slugs" quest. In fact, nowhere on the map can you find out what the quest objectives are. Then again, the column with quests is really not very helpful, because it doesn't tell you what the quest objectives are. The column with quests completely covers that part of the map, and to see it, you have to turn it off. Also, good luck using the quest finder when you are questing in a location that is on the far right of the map. It is capable of showing the position of underground quest objectives, why can't it also show your position? The first thing that comes to mind is that they simply don't have separate maps for underground areas, and think that just showing your location on the overworldmap would be confusing. I don't like how it becomes completely useless the moment you step foot into a dungeon. I agree there are certainly parts where you just get flooded with quests from quest givers, and also from the communicator pop-ups and challenges, and it can be a little bit overwhelming. So even though you might have a million of situationally useful abilities in the support tree, you will be using them much less, because you need those ability spots filled with dps/support abilities crucial for your role. The only thing I kinda don't like about it is that it forces you into having a loadout of few abilities, and you can't just bind everything that you get.
